Monitoring Bores

The sample comes out of the hole bagged. As the soil enters the barrel the bag is drawn over the sample reducing the risk of cross contamination. The drilling process does not heat the sample reducing  vaporization of volatiles .

Contaminated site investigation

In most cases water is not added during the drilling process leaving the sample in the same state that it would be in the ground.

Acid Sulphate soil

The EP rigs are the most suitable of your drills to carry out geotechnical work be it SPT or push tube. The EP26 has the ability to drill a 5 inch ID casing to 25 metres through unconsolidated ground conditions. Ideal if you are after a 100mm push tube.
